The Bends. A film about The Raisins. - full length documentary
1h 10m
After a 39 year hiatus, the legendary Cincinnati rock band, The Raisins got back together for three sellout shows. In this live documentary these accomplished midwestern musicians come face-to-face with the music they made in their mid-twenties, when they miraculously made a living writing and performing original music. A celebration of musical prowess, chemistry and a dedication to originality create the backdrop for dialogue and reflection, as the band members recount the band’s journey, their overwhelmingly passionate fans, and purposefully eclectic music . Intimate revelations and witty storytelling highlight the triumphs and the abundant artistic successes they had despite their lack of widespread national recognition.
