After a 30 year hiatus, the legendary Cincinnati rock band, The Raisins got back together for three sellout shows. These long-accomplished midwestern musicians come face-to-face with the music they made at a time in their early 20s where surviving on writing and performing original music was next to impossible. A celebration of original music, rock prowess and dedication provides the backdrop for dialogue and reflection, as the band members recount the band’s journey, successes and frustrations. Intimate revelations and in-depth storytelling suggest what might have gone wrong commercially, despite rich artistic and regional success.
Featuring Rob Fetters, Bob Nyswonger, Ricky Nye, and Bam Powell.
Directed by Michael Tittel
