After a 39 year hiatus, the legendary Cincinnati rock band, The Raisins got back together for three sellout shows. These long-accomplished midwestern musicians come face-to-face with the music they made at a time in their early twenties where they miraculously made a living writing and performing original music. A celebration of original music, rock prowess and dedication provides the backdrop for dialogue and reflection, as the band members recount the band’s journey, successes and frustrations. Intimate revelations and in-depth storytelling shine a light on the triumphs and suggest what might have gone wrong commercially, despite an abundance of rich artistic and regional success.
